26th November:- Mumbai Terrorist Attack!

Today while coming back from the office I noticed a strange kind of scary air blowing away on the streets, buses & trains of my Mumbai Nagari. The huge hassel & bustel had narrowed down on the streets, buses & trains never seemed so empty on week days, nor either on weekends too. All the colleges, schools, shops, hawkers... almost the whole charm that shines in the heart of the city were shutdown, due a major Terrorist Bomb Attack last night at the most luxurious Taj Mahal and Oberoi Trident Hotel.
All the television channels, radios, newspapers are flooded again with the the reports of injuries, survivals & deaths witnessed by the spectators at the tragic locations. This extending phase of terrorism is leaving a haunt of fear on the minds of every Mumbaikar. Everyone knows though its not for the first time that Mumbai is going through all this... all over again, still everyone wants to know who is the culprit behind all this... forget Mumbai they have not even spared the rest of Indian cosmos like Delhi, Bangalore, Jaipur & Ahmedabad. Are they the same people? What do they really want? What are they upto actually? Which is their next target point? Till when will they keep on destroying lands?....... So many roaring unanswered questions awaits the reply of the culprit for those innocent victims on whom nobody gave a damn shed of tear to! :.(

Though I didn't see the face of terror marching around me, I still could observe a silent fear on every face be it while I was in the office, walking on the street or inside the train. The grapevines are even more mind blasting than the terror blasting in the city. Its time again when we Mumbaikars have to stand unitedly & challenge the face of terror... show them that they'll never be able to shake the spirit of our dreamland Mumbai. Yes! its time to be brave, becoz. bravery knows no caste, no religion, no creed & no gender... it only knows yourself... becoz. Brave is You! :)
Living with a thought of not leaving hope in bad times & spend good times in celebrating joy of success - thatz what a true Mumbaikar is known for. Even though the face of terror will paralyse the city several times... still we will stand up together to save our dreamland who has taught us why is it so much necessary to stand on our own feet to live a life of ones own vision.
Times of pleasure or Times of terror.... God Bless Mumbai cum whatever.... Mumbai was, is & will always Keep Rocking forever! :)

KiNG KHAN:- "I AM THE BEST!"

It wouldn't be possible at all for me to come this long way, had I not got spell bound by his intense eyes filled with so much passion & love; had I not heard his voice & read his interviews that still echo & hinder in my mind wherever I go; had I not seen his dashing dimpled-smile on his face, world would have never seemed alright. Shahrukh Khan is one of the person to whom I owe my existence to. I can't thank him enough for teaching me how to care, love, laugh, cry, share & enjoy with people around me. He is one amongst those who has inspired & motivated me to believe in what I aspire to be, whenever I have lost control on my life.

Till date I'm not able to figure out what sort of attraction or attachment do I have for this Karismatic Man whom I just cannot get rid off, even if I want to. For me he is always present in my thoughts whether I am happy or sad... although he is absent for those who can't feel him. Maybe, its just that I find him so Divine that I can completely trust his words blindly... & thatz exactly what this blind faith has made me what I am today.

As the King Khan always says, "I AM THE BEST!" very royally, I'm sure there is nobody in this world who won't agree to say & to be the same, just like him in whatever work we take up. A sportsman's heart will always pray to God for giving him the strength to win this world, but no doubt will be shattered if he loses. This is nothing but a game of life... actually, you know Life is a 3 Ring Circus - When you laugh, everyone laughs with you. When you cry, you cry alone! Thus, its very necessary to implement a Killer Attitude in ones life just like SRK, i.e- Winning is not everything, but wanting to win is! :)

Everyone tries its level best by short cut ways or long cut ways, to be The Best in whatever we are doing. Its actually a layman's song... rather a anthem - 'Jo Bhi Chaahoon Vo Main Paoon, Zindagi Mein Jeet Jaoon... Chaand Taare Tod Laoon, Saari Duniya Par Main Chhaoon... Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai, Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai!' which makes each one of us feel special & incredibly unique in our own sweet way.

It's probably just that at this point of time in my life I am just holding the ice-cream cone in my hand... I still have a long way to go & taste my ice-cream before it melts. And who cares where the hell do I land up... even I don't know what next is gonna happen in my life. With a Never Say Die spirit, I promise myself to Keep Rocking, cum what may; no one in the world can stop me from praising my ownself. So just to spread love all over & cheer up dull faces, everyone must believe totally in one line said by our KiNG KHAN:- "I AM THE BEST" atleast for the sake of our lives that we spend running behind our dreams! :)

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai - An Inexplicable Bond!

10 years ago, big black eyes of a sweet & tender teen girl kept wandering here and there to catch a glimpses of RAHUL, ANJALI & TINA the minute she heard the lovely sounds of KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI. Today with a undying zeal in my heart I want to say - Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is an inevitable movie which is truly invincible. Yes! a movie I can never get bored of watching, a movie whose songs I just can't stop humming, a movie where I visited college of my dreams, a movie I knew will be remembered through the period of adolescence; a movie that will be treasured all my life for leaving an everlasting impression on my heart.

Who even had an hint that one day his name will be taken with the top most directors of this generation, when a 25 years old Karan Johar directed his first film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. A film about Love & Friendship which made us understand what the journey of life is all about. A journey of a collegian who kept saying, "Hum ek baar jeete hain, ek baar marte hain, shaadi bhi ek baar hoti hain… aur pyaar bhi…sirf ek hi baar hota hai...baar baar nahin hota!" till he entered his adulthood & finally, got married the second time all over again. It's a story which will make you fall in love with your First Love again, again & again! A story that has taught me - Relations start with Friendship. This eternal flame of Friendship keeps on glowing with the time in every heart till it finds its eternal flame of Love the day the soulmates get unite.

Loitering in the corridors of my college I kept wondering - Does such Friendship exists? Can a boy & a girl can really be just real good friends? What if Friendship is taken over by Love? What if one fine day, one had to choose between Friendship & Love?... All sorts of weirdest & worst questions used to buzz on in my mind those days, which undoubtedly kept me aloof from the rest of the mingling young crowd. This sweet & tender teen girl with big black eyes, has now grown a bit wiser in thoughts but still is a teenager at heart. Today, I have dumped all these stupid queries in a dustbin, coz. I know that there is going to be special bond with every person l meet from now on, exactly as special as I have a Bond with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, thatz rather Inexplicable. Get ready world, I am here to touch the sky of new horizons where I want to keep the Flame of Friendship & Love still burning with lot of eternity so that I can leave a mark on your minds & capture your hearts as magical spells of KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI have conquered my mind & heart.

Thatz the reason why my heart still wanders in search of some RAHUL & keeps on singing - Tum paas aaye, yun muskuraaye.♥.Tumne na jaane kya sapne dikhaaye.♥.Ab to mera dil jaage na sota hai.♥.Kya karoon haaye, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai! :)

A Truly Indelible Kahaani !

To begin with,am not an avid daily soap centric person.Infact, the only daily soap I watch with interest is Kumkum-Pyaara Sa Bandhan all thanks to my fanatism for Juhi Parmar in it.Inspite of not watching 'Kahaani' on a routine basis, there is something which has created an inbuilt relationship between me as a viewer and the show.A strange inexplicable....{well,rather explicable} bond links me to this show. Its the bond of childhood.

I remember watching Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki 8 years back on the 16th Of October,2000 sitting with my whole family near the old dabba or rather a laymen's TV set...and today after 8 years...The show is at the same place...still entertaining us.....while my life has gone under drastic changes.8 years back I wasnt the same Nitesh R Shahani that I am now.It was a cute 9 to 10 year lad watching Parvati enter the home by breaking the kalash{thats the most vivid memory I have of the show!} while its me now who's well, nearing my adulthood , that I still see the face of this bahu enchant the TV Screens!..What better achievement than this! The show undoubtedly belonged to Saakshi Tanwar.....She ruled the show...as the main protagonist Parvati Om Agarwal. I can assure you that it was Parvati's simplicity, cohesiveness and coexistance in her character that attracted the viewers to stick to their TV screens. Her persona was a paradigm of human emotions personified....Soo matured yet so innocent!...

I very well remember watching few such episodes from this show which have surely left an indelible mark on me as well as my thinking.Who can forget those glorious words remarked more than once on the show:"Jab tak sab kuch theek nahi ho jaata, Anth nahi hota" or even the elaborate sequences of surrender of Evil over Good.

As great philosophers say, "All good things must come to an end!" and so is this show but the mark that this show has left on its every viewer in past 8 years is not erasable. It will be a show that will be remembered whenever any actor of the show is in the spotlight..

Hats off to Kahaani....!:)

MuMBAi MeRi JaaN... SaPNo Ka SHeHeR! :)

A city that never sleeps, but dreams unlimited! This comes straight from the heart of a Mumbaikar - If you really want all your dreams to come true, you are most welcome in the arms of The City of Dreams - Aamchi Mumbai. Trouble, distraction, pain, agony, refreshment, enjoyment, frustration, stress, joy, sorrow, scandals, controversies, etc. are a part of your struggle that one has to face in their day-to-day life. Afterall, this struggle of life is the best challenge for yourself to come across and standup erect looking in front to shake hands with your destination against all odds. Mumbai acts as a bridge to minimise the gaps between ones dream and destiny.

Do you know what is your Destiny? Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be awaited for, it is a thing to be achieved. Mumbai is a wonderland which ignites you to Dream as if you'll live forever & make you Live as if you'll die today. In this Mumbai Nagari, it's hard to find people whose hearts don't dream, rite from the slum dweller to affluent class... everyone are a big day-dreamers. These dreams turn into passion & this passion holds up the bottom of the universe and genius paints up its roof. If there were no eyes that dreamt, HE would have refrained from doing miracles in human lives.

Do you know what is a Miracle? If you really wish to do something from the bottom of your heart, then the whole universe gets together to make sure that you get whatever you desired. This state can be termed as 'MIRACLE'….becoz. Miracle doesn't happen for the things you are destined to be, but it does happen for the things you really want to be.

If you don't have a dream, how are you going to make a dream come true? Believe in your Dreams, they do cum true...kyunki - Papa kehte hain bada naam karega, Beta hamara aisa kaam karega.... Baithe hain milke sab yaar apne, Sabke dilon mein armaan yeh hai, Wo zindagi mein kal kya banega, Har ek nazar ka sapna yeh hai, Koi engineer ka kaam karega, Business mein koi apna naam karega... Magar yeh to koi na jaane Ki meri manzil hai kahan! :D

LiFe PooRi FiLMi Hai!

Films are an integral part of my life since childhood. Do you know what is a Film?

A film is an audio-visual representation of a Germ. A Germ is nothing but a Thought in human mind that is responsible for where you are today. Don't you think there is some connection between the Reel Life & the Real Life?

Until the moments are not captured in a camera, a film cannot be made. Can you tell me the Biggest Cameraman who is constantly watching you, even now? Yes! if you are getting me rite, GOD is the Biggest Cameraman of all times. Its HE who attentively keeps a track of your pros & cons in life... Dadima ne kahaan tha!

When an audio-visual medium is seen from a perspective of the Director, which is finally bloated up on to a screen - this fine piece of art is termed as "Cinema". It is an audio-visual means of communication, learning experimentation and most importantly entertainment. Film can be a part of Cinema, but Cinema cannot be a part of Film.

With regards to our cultural aspects, I'm also amongst those on whom "Indian Cinema" has made a great impact. Drama, thrills, traditions, comedy, love-romance, songs, dances - play a vital role in our Indian Cinema... without which our movies would look like a body without soul. Our lives keeps on revolving around these movies... sometimes keeps rotating or sometimes becomes parellel to a recent flick you have just watched yesterday. A person who can feel movies in every state of his life, can definitely sense ki... Yeh Life Poori Filmi Hai! We all have been sent by the Almighty for playing our roles on a celluloid he has created for us to Live, Imagine, Fascinate & Enjoy - LIFE!

Take it or leave it, OM has said, "Hamari zindagi bhi hamare hindi filmon ke jaisa hi hai.. jaha pe end mein sab kuch theek ho jaata hai.. 'Happies Endings'.. Lekin agar End mein sab kuch theek na ho to woh the end nahi hain.... Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost!!!" - Film: Om Shanti Om
